The Hepco & Becker BASIC Tank Ring is the dedicated mounting plate required to fit a Hepco & Becker tank bag to your motorcycle. Unlike the Lock-it tank ring, the BASIC system uses a fully mechanical locking design instead of a magnetic locking mechanism, offering a more budget-friendly option while still providing a secure and reliable connection between the bag and the bike.

The ring mounts neatly to the fuel filler cap using the included hardware and integrates discreetly with the bike’s design. A small guiding magnet helps align the bag, which can be quickly attached or removed using a simple pull strap. Strong, low-profile, and practical, the BASIC Tank Ring provides a clean and dependable solution for mounting a tank bag.
