The Hepco & Becker BASIC Tank Ring is the dedicated mounting plate required to fit a Hepco & Becker tank bag to your motorcycle. Unlike the Lock-it system, the BASIC Tank Ring uses a fully mechanical locking mechanism instead of a magnetic lock, offering a more affordable option while still providing a secure and dependable connection—without the risk of unwanted magnetization.

The ring installs neatly around the fuel filler cap using the included hardware and integrates cleanly into the bike’s design. A small guiding magnet helps align the bag, which can be attached and removed quickly with a simple pull of the release strap. Strong, low-profile, and practical, the BASIC Tank Ring offers a subtle and reliable tank bag mounting solution.
