The BUMOT Defender pannier racks were designed for a bike originally equipped with the Yamaha OEM pannier kit.  This includes a steel spacer/bracket installed on the rear of the passenger foot peg bracket where the BUMOT rack is attached.  If your bike was not originally equipped with OEM luggage, there will be approximately a 20mm gap between the rack's forward mounting point and the mounting hole on the passenger peg.  As the Yamaha bracket is not available separately, this spacer solves the issue easily and cost effectively.  This kit includes two custom-made aluminum spacers and two 50mm bolts.

Please note - if your bike was originally equipped with OEM luggage, or you have the black bracket shown in the picture, this kit is not required.
