If you answered yes to the cheesiest question we could possibly think of than this guard is for you!  Hepco & Becker have just released the Extreme version of their popular tank guard for the Tenere 700.  You'll notice right away that the Extreme guard covers more than the H&B standard guard, providing significant protection for the upper part of the bike. Cross width strength bars have also been doubled from one to two for twice the amount of lateral stiffness.  The guard itself contours to the upper fairings flawlessly and features a welded in plate for improved looks and strength. In addition, we find it to also provide a nice space to strap down exterior bags for week long journeys such as the Hepco & Becker tank guard bags. 

To sum it up, this is the best tank guard for your Tenere 700 if hitting the trails and forgoing a lower engine guard. 

Please note - the Extreme tank guards are not compatible with the standard Hepco & Becker 501.4564 00 01 engine guards.  We recommend pairing these with a lower skidplate for optimal protection.
