The BUMOT Defender engine skidplate for the Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin / Adventure Sports is made of one-piece 4mm aluminum with welded construction for strength.  The force of an impact is distributed over a large area via six mounting points.  The side of the skidplate extend upward to provide significant protection for the lower engine cases - no need for a redundant lower crash bar!  Available for both manual and DCT-equipped bikes.

This item comes available in powder coated black finish with stainless steel brackets and includes all installation hardware

Please note - if you have a 2018+ Africa Twin Adventure Sports, please order the DCT skidplate regardless of which transmission you have.  The DCT skidplate provides the necessary clearance for the OEM skidplate brackets on this model and does not require any modification or cutting for installation.
